Dannicus Live at Kingdom-Con!

   Posted by: Administrator    in Uncategorized

Dannicus Live is a band that truly defies description. They effectively blend traditional Irish music and sea shanties with rock, metal, and punk, prompting a popular San Diego Disc Jockey to call them “the most exciting and original band in a decade”. The Urban Dictionary lists Dannicus Live as the originators af a new genre of music known as Pirate Rock.

The band has been playing together four years and has released two albums. The first; Dead Man’s Tales, is comprised almost exclusively of Irish Drinking songs that Dannicus Live says they ‘kicked in the ass”. The second – Liquor and Whores – is a full-length album that really showcases their diversity and backgrounds as successful musicians. CD reviews said of the album “What a great freaking band. Pirate Rock at its best!”

As their name implies, live shows are what truly set them apart. Regularly drawing hundreds of loyal fans and selling out shows, they are rapidly becoming the stuff of San Diego legend. Their female fan club members call themselves “The Dirty Pirate Hookers” and are like poster children for a “Girls Gone Wild” video.

Don’t miss this chance to see San Diego’s most exciting band live April 17th!
